The BRIO MRS platform took 2nd place at the 1st National сontest of IT solutions “PPOF-IT.Innovation”
In a rapidly changing world information technology plays a vital role in the achievement of business tops. Today, Russian scientific and business communities actively discuss the application of IT as a “strategic weapon” that is especially relevant in the context of the transition to a digital economy. After all, a company creates entirely new opportunities in the technological environment by implementing digital transformations.
It’s worth noting the importance of profile events and platforms that happen to be a certain boost for the development, popularization and implementation of technological solutions into real life.
One of such platforms was the 1st National contest of IT-solutions “PROF-IT.Innovation” that announced its winners on March, 19. The key goals of this event are the discovery and spread of innovative solutions in digitalization of various sectors of the economy and the social sphere, the support of Russian IT developers in marketing their products, the stimulation of the increase in investments in best homegrown IT solutions.
140 IT projects from 40 regions of Russia took part in the contest. The event had already familiar format of online presentations and dialogues with experts. The Expert center of the electronic state, which has been holding the All-Russian “PROF-IT” forum of regional informatization since 2013, hosted the event.
The projects were evaluated by the Council of Experts that included representatives from federal ministries, involving the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, and ministers of digital development of the member states of the Russian Federation.
The major result of the “PROF-IT.Innovation” contest will be the creation of a base of innovative IT solutions that will contribute to the achievement of “digital maturity” of key sectors of the economy and the social sphere.
The BRIO MRS company made it to the finals and took 2nd place in the «Virtual and Augmented Reality Technologies» nomination for the development of the technological hardware-digital platform BRIO MRS.
The solution provides the possibility to visualize a BIM model and work with it on a construction site in real time by using Mixed Reality technology. It allows to carry out installation and construction works on time and within budget, as well as control the entire construction process.
