The BRIO MRS platform entered the Russian Software Producer’s register
The IT sector plays a strategically significant role in the Russian economy. Therefore, one of the core goals of carrying out domestic policy is to create comfortable environment for dynamic development of technology entrepreneurship in Russia.
June 29, 2015 is a key date for most Russian IT companies. On that day the Russian government signed a law on establishing the Russian Software Producer’s register for Electronic Computing Machines (ECM) and Data Base (DB) headed by the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation. From January 1, 2016 Russian governmental bodies will have to renounce foreign software in favor of Russian programs. The major goal of the law is to provide internal security and maximum sovereignty of the market from foreign technologies.
The Import Substitution Programme (ISP) implementation is believed to come to fruition and enrich the domestic IT market, support Russian IT companies and expend the sales market.
On December 30, 2020 the BRIO MRS product was successfully registered in the Russian Software Producer’s Register.
