The BRIO MRS platform at IV International BIM forum
The necessity to collect, process and control a wealth of information while designing, building and maintaining construction projects brought out the importance of using IT and specialized software products in today’s construction sector.
BIM forum is an annual international summit that brings together representatives of the largest construction players, which main goal is to show the latest technological products and share the experience of applying digital technologies during all stages of construction.
This year, on April 13-14, the event was held in the format of live sessions and online streaming. Representatives of the largest Russian companies in digital construction, developers of top СAD systems, BIM specialists and managers of design and engineering companies gave over 70 reports on BIM modeling in civil and industrial engineering. Key topics of the discussion were state expertise of BIM models and regulatory and technical requirements, cross-platform cooperation among project players, the use of BIM models at different stages of construction, as well as various automation tools.
At our booth, we demonstrated to the participants the BRIO MRS Mixed Reality platform for construction. Moreover, CEO Aleksey Kislukhin gave a speech as a guest speaker of the “VR-AR-MR in construction” session on “Building an end-to-end business process for construction management using Mixed and Augmented Reality technologies”.
The BRIO MRS platform is a multi-purpose tool for comprehensive task solution. Besides visualization of BIM-models in MR mode directly on a construction site, the solution allows to promptly carry out a “plan-fact” analysis, keep on the schedule, cut the budget, and establish cooperation and up-to-date information exchange between the office and the construction site.
