BRIO MRS is a finalist of the competition by Rosatom and Skolkovo

Last October, a Competition of innovative projects in the field of remote monitoring in construction was launched.

The event was hosted by Rosatom’s Centre of Expertise for Major Construction Projects and the Skolkovo Foundation. The partner of the track was the Rosatom business accelerator – OOO “Innohab”.

The main goal of the competition is to search for innovative solutions and technologies in the field of remote monitoring in construction and integrate them at Rosatom’s construction sites.

This competition provides a unique opportunity to carry out a pilot project at Rosatom’s facilities, work with leading industry experts in the field of industrial construction and refine the product to meet the customer needs.

The projects were selected in the following areas:

  • data collection, processing and analysis platforms for remote monitoring of construction;
  • VR, AR and MR solutions for remote monitoring of construction;
  • solutions for remote monitoring of construction based on video analytics;
  • unmanned solutions for remote monitoring of construction;
  • IoT, RFID and other solutions for remote monitoring of construction;
  • other solutions for remote monitoring of construction.

It is worth mentioning that more than 100 startups applied for participation in the competition, and only 14 projects managed to meet the final.

In December, at the Demo day, Ilnur Kharisov, Founder of the BRIO MRS company, presented the BRIO Mixed Reality System (MRS) project.

BRIO MRS is a system for management process automation on the construction site and a unique tool for quality control of construction and installation works without the use of drawings.

Using the Industry 4.0 technology stack (CV, AR/MR, AI) the solution brings the building information model (BIM) to nature and enables to work with the project directly on the construction site in real time.

In addition to the visualization of the BIM project, the system provides effective interaction between the office and the construction site by transferring and processing up-to-date and reliable data; it allows you to meet the project deadlines and, in general, increases the efficiency of investments in Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Thank you to the organizers for the opportunity to present the project during the contest, to communicate and exchange experience with experts in the field of remote monitoring of construction.
