The First United Eurasian Congress “TIM-COMMUNITY 2021. PEOPLE. TECHNOLOGY. PROCESSES”

At the end of November, the First United Eurasian Congress “TIM-COMMUNITY 2021. PEOPLE. TECHNOLOGY. PROCESSES” took place in MGSU and joined together specialists in information modeling technologies.

The National Association of Organizations in the Field of Building Information Modeling Technologies (NOTIM), the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Government, the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) and other state and public organizations were the initiators of the event.

The mission of the congress is to bring together industry experts involved in the process of developing and implementing digital technologies, creating a single platform for receiving up-to-date data about digital innovations, as well as working on universal approaches and standards for the transition of all construction participants to BIM from January 1, 2022 under the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 331.

The business program was divided into three blocks: “People”, “Technologies” and “Processes”. Within these sessions industry experts discussed the questions of training professional personnel, the development of the Russian software market in the field of BIM and the improvement of legal and technological standards in the field of digitalization.

Alexey Kislukhin, CEO of BRIO MRS, also took part in the business program and made a report “Practice in the application of Augmented (AR) and Mixed (MR) reality technologies in construction. Project results: Challenges and Achievements”. In the speech Mr. Kislukhin raised the problems and application of BIM in construction, and also spoke about the use of AR/MR with the BRIO Mixed Reality System (MRS) as a tool for automating management processes directly on the construction site.

With the help of the Industry 4.0 technology stack (CV, AR/MR, AI) the BRIO MRS platform can bring the information model (BIM) to nature, and it enables builders to plan in detail and effectively monitor construction works. In general, the use of the BRIO MRS system helps to meet construction deadlines, ensures effective interaction between the office and the construction site by exchanging up-to-date and reliable data, and saves the customer’s nerves, time and money.

We express our gratitude to the organizers for the given opportunity and wish further success in the development and promotion of this platform.
