BRIO MRS at the KAZANYSH architectural and construction forum

At the beginning of December, the first KAZANYSH architectural and construction forum was held in Kazan at the “Ak Bars Retro Cars” venue. It brought together leading architects, real estate developers, project owners and designers from all over Russia.

The main goal of the forum was to discuss the questions of training highly skilled specialists, who involved in the development of the urban environment, to share experience, establish business contacts and solve pressing issues. For three days more than 500 players in the field of architecture and urban planning shared their knowledge and experience, discussed interesting projects, new technologies and modern solutions.

The festival’s business program included lectures, presentations and speeches. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin attended the opening ceremony of the forum; he also took part in a plenary discussion “Architecture with character”. Besides, there was an additional platform where production companies presented modern materials and new technologies to the guests.

A special topic of the forum was the digital transformation of urban planning, particularly, the development of BIM and the training of professional personnel. As you know, from January 1, 2022, in Russia, the use of information modeling technologies (TIM/BIM) in federally funded construction projects will become mandatory.

Alexey Kislukhin, CEO of BRIO MRS, made a report on the practice in the application of Augmented (AR) and Mixed (MR) reality technologies in construction. In his speech Mr. Kislukhin raised the topic of digitalization of the construction industry, the use of BIM under construction, and also told about the ways to solve them while using BRIO Mixed Reality System (MRS).

The platform is a perfect tool for the management process automation on the construction site. With the help of the Industry 4.0 technology stack – Computer Vision (CV), Augmented and Mixed reality (AR/MR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) – the solution allows you to take a BIM project from the office to the construction site and automate the quality control of construction and installation works in real time without using any blueprints.

We were glad to be a part of this event, share our experience and contribute to the development of the construction industry, including architecture and urban planning.
